Björn is a visionary entrepreneur and founder. He is always looking at customer challenges and how to turn those challenges into a product and thereby leveraging solutions to the mass market. In 1997 he build one of the first PIM (Product Information Management) / MDM (Master Data Management) solutions. Today more then 7,500 companies are using this technology to manage their product information.

· Developed and executed Business Strategy for new SA2 Worldsync GmbH which has been merged from SINFOS GmbH (German GDS company) and the GDS business of Agentrics (US based Supply Chain Software & Service company). The business strategy comprised also involvement of products and services of the mother company PIRONET NDH.
· Developed and executed Product Strategy for new product offering.
· Responsible for product management & development of new GDSN datapool platform. The new GDSN datapool platform is based on the SA2/Pironet NDH’s PIM platform which is actually the former Cataloom PIM technology.
The project also included management of migration of all active GDS customers (> 400) from the Agentrics platform to the new GDSN datapool platform.
· Responsible for all involvements into standardization process at GS1.

· Developed and executed Product Strategy for SINFOS. Key elements were to rebuild the SINFOS datapool on the basis of the PIRONET NDH PIM technology. Develop and introduce a Web-Interface for suppliers to maintain their Product Information online via the Internet. Establish connectivity from the proprietary (in the sense only standardized in some European communities) SINFOS datapool to the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN).
The project also included the migration of all customers (> 2.000) from the old SINFOS datapool to the new platform.
